Due to bad facial complexion lately, COSRX cosmetic products are introduced to me and I have been using them for a while. They are quite effective but I felt that their packaging designs understate their high quality and decided to do a self initiated packaging design exercise for them.
There are a few key design elements that I had identified. The brand logo is not prominent and the naming of its product series can be a little confusing. The use of colours to differentiate product lines are good but inconsistent.
As the brand has developed unique illustrations, my proposed design will aim to merge with the current brand assets to maintain brand recognition and blend in with their existing advertising campaigns. Below are my design explorations beginning from the actual packaging to renderings of my proposed designs.
